Sewing / stitching / tailoring have been traditional skill of garmenting women of Beed district. Beyond meeting small repairs and alteration the skills of these women are underdeveloped. There skills, if nurtured professionally through common facility centre and training centre can be converted in to a good earning profession. There are such 50 women’s in Beed district who have shown keen interest in developing this aspect. These women already taken the basic training of tailoring from the local training institute. If these women are well supported through state of art machinery in Common Facility Centre there can be 20% growth achieved per annum.
